What if a repressive government decides to alter the results that people search for? What if a search engine becomes so powerful that it starts to skew results for commercial partners, or against competitors? Democratize the search field! Use the power of peer to peer to spider the web more quickly and efficiently. I am not really sure how this works, but maybe something to do with anonymously searching recently non-HTTPS visited pages from the cache? Searches forwarded peer to peer, maybe using Bayesian filters on on previously successful peers? Or. Something...? :)
