Not many people backup, and those that do won't have checkable versions of their files.

Git is a free source control system, and a great way to version\backup your files.

Make a nice easy to use GUI for Average Joe to setup and backup files, restore them etc...

Possibly think about notification systems, ie email, texts, etc...
