People tend to find jobs through their professional networks. However when they lose their current job they find that this can sometimes weaken their professional network to the point that it becomes very hard for them to find new jobs.

What's needed is some way for real people (no companies and no recruitment agencies) to broadcast the details of jobs they know about and for people looking for work to broadcast the kinds of jobs they're interested. Add in some kind of matching service on top which puts job-seekers in touch with the person who originally broadcast the vacancy. Then add in some kind of reputation feature so that people who broadcast fake or mis-leading vacancies are less likely to be matched with job-seekers in future
