People love the idea of donating money - especially when they dont actually have to pay that money themselves.

Did you know that on average a person in the UK gives only 0.7% of their income to Charity each year? The other 99.3% is spent on consumer goods.

So what if we had a system that allowed people to earn donations while they spent that 99.3% of their income?

Well, we already do - its called Fund it Frog. And we give on average 4% of what people spend straight to good causes. If everyone used our site the average donations in the UK would quadruple overnight!!

So what's left to Good Hack? We desperately need help getting people to remember to use the service. They'll spend £1000 on a Plasma and then say "oh, i should have used Fund it Frog" when its too late.

We believe that its the hassle of coming to the site that causes the problem. If we could create a desktop application (Frog Gadget) of the very simplest variety then people would use the Frog on every purchase.

For the sake of making it flawless and yet fun and functional in the time allocated we imagine it to be very simple: a Frog photo(supplied by us) with arty border etc that performs simple links to the various Retailers, Products and Funds on the FunditFrog.co.uk site.

Must have requirements: The Program shall...

1. Be a downloadable executable (e.g. .exe on windows) that will self-install and be uninstallable.

2. Appear on the Windows All Programs menu and Mac equivalent.

3. Appear in the Windows System Tray and Mac equivalent.

4. Allow users to link to their choice of letter for 'Retailer A-Z page'. (on the site, the retailers are listed on a new page for each letter they start with)

5. Allow users to link to the 'A-Z of Funds' page.

6. Allows users to type a product search, the results of which appear in the browser using our existing product search functionality.

7. Allow users to link to their account settings page

Nice to have requirements: The Program could...

A. Create a minature version of the Fund page - e.g. with branding, Fund name, and amount raised / supporter count displayed. This would be the Fund Gadget

B. Allow the display of a Fund Gadget on their desktop.

C. Allow users to click to opt to display a permanent Fund Gadget on their desktop.

D. Allow users to login to their account to be fed updates to their fund / offers array of data that is relevant to them (see site for ideas)
